2016 Par 3 Challenge

Come out and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with a twist! We are converting the front-side of the Love Course to a Par 3 Course. The event will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016.
This will be a two-person team better ball event, starting with a shotgun start at 2:00pm. This event is open to all Members and there Guests. Each team must include a Resort Member. Non-alcoholic refreshments on the course with a Taco bar Pasta station and salad following the round.
Entry Fees: $30 for Members and $40 for Guests
(Payment will be collected the day of play and includes green fees, cart, food and prizes)
The format for the event will be a Two-person team better ball. (Each team member plays their own ball and records the better net score of the two) Nine hole par 3 tournament will be played on the front 9 of the Love Course. Each hole will be converted into a par 3. 25 % of handicap indexes will be used and strokes will be given based on the low team within each flight. The maximum score on each hole is double par (6). There will be 2 closest to the pin prizes for both men and women. All men will play from the WHITE tees; all women will play from the GOLD tees. Longest hole for men will be 187 yards and for women will be 139 yards. The number of flights depends on the number of entries with a maximum of 72 players. Five teams of women will be needed for a ladies flight.
Mulligans will be $3 for one or $5 for two with a maximum of 2 per player. Money collected will go into a cash raffle for all of those who purchased them. Mulligans may be used on any shot, but may not be used for any on-course contests. If you use a mulligan, you must play that shot.
