The Barefoot Experience

Posted in: News and Events

Are you looking for the ultimate golf experience? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Welcome to Barefoot Resort & Golf, the 2017 North America Golf Resort of the Year, where without a doubt, is a golfers paradise. You don’t have to drive more than three miles in any direction to find what you’re looking for.

Want world-class golf? We have that – four courses to be exact.

Need accommodations? You’ll find only the best here!

Dining, Entertainment, Nightlife? Just a short drive away you can find something that fits your mood.

For years, golfers have been making yearly trips to Barefoot Resort and coming back year and after year. Why is that? It’s because of the Barefoot Experience. We’ve detailed some of the experience below!

Golf

It’s why you come to Myrtle Beach in the first place. The golf in Barefoot is some of the best, if not the best, in Myrtle Beach. Each of the four courses (Dye, Fazio, Norman and Love), have won countless awards and have very different styles, so your round each day will be a little different.

The courses have even hosted a number of different events. The Love Course was the host site for Big Break Myrtle Beach and the Dye Course has hosted Darius Rucker’s Monday After the Masters Tournament for a number of years.

Accommodations

When you stay in Barefoot, you’ll have the option of either the Barefoot Resort Golf Villas or the Yacht Club Villas. The Yacht Club Villas set new standards for Myrtle Beach luxury accommodations, and feature well appointed kitchens with granite countertops, designer furnishings and incredible spacious floor plans. You’ll enjoy the breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Yacht Club Marina from your private balcony. Amenities include an outdoor Jacuzzi and the largest outdoor pool in South Carolina!

The Golf Villas are more condo/apartment style and can house large parties at a lower rate than the Yacht Club Villas.

Entertainment

After 18 holes, you can take a very short drive over to Barefoot Landing and grab a drink or a bite to eat. Set along the Intracoastal Waterway and featuring a 27 acre lake, Barefoot Landing combines breathtaking scenery with an outstanding selection of places to enjoy day and night. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a quaint Southern shopping village.

Notable attractions include:

House of Blues, Joe’s Crab Shack, Greg Norman’s Australian Grille, River City Café, Wild Wing Café and MUCH MORE!
