Trey Evans
First Assistant Golf Professional/Marketing Director
Trey is originally from Summerville, SC. He attended Summerville High School where he excelled in baseball as well as academics. Upon graduating high school, he attended Coastal Carolina University where he walked onto the baseball team. He graduated from CCU with a business degree in finance and marketing. His excitement for learning something new and the joy of competition is what drove him to get into the golf business.

Sean Reardon
PGA – Assistant Golf Professional/Merchandise Director
Sean is originally from Lancaster, PA. He grew up playing all sports and loved to compete. He excelled in soccer before turning his attention to golf. A few years after high school, Sean decided to pursue golf as a career. He graduated from the Golf Academy of America in Phoenix with a degree in Golf Operations and Management. Upon graduating, Sean accepted a position at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. He worked there for 3 years and was a shift supervisor for the outside service staff. Sean joined our staff in March of 2016 and is excited to be a part of this great team.

Dan Lorig
Assistant Golf Professional/Resort Tournament Director- PGA Apprentice
Dan Lorig is originally from Cleveland, OH and has been golfing since he was 8 years old. A natural athlete, Dan excelled in many sports, but spent most of his youth playing ice hockey. When a knee injury took away the possibility of playing college hockey, Dan decided to pursue a career in the golf industry. Dan also has vast experience in the food service/hospitality industry where he worked as a bartender and bar manager for several years in Cleveland. Aside from golf, Dan also has a great passion for music. He teaches guitar and also plays piano and the drums. He is also a die-hard Cleveland sports fan.
Dan spent 2 years in the pro shop at River Oaks Golf Plantation before joining the Barefoot Resort team in April of 2016. In December of 2015, he graduated from the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach. He is currently enrolled in the PGA apprenticeship program and also plans on pursuing a TPI certification. Dan’s experience in both the golf and hospitality industries paired with his high level of customer service have made him a great fit to the Resort pro shop staff.

Mark Mullery
Assistant Golf Professional
Mark is originally from Danville, PA. He attended Danville Area High School where he excelled in both baseball and golf. He enjoyed all sports as a kid and loved competition which is what ultimately drove Mark to choose the path he is on now; the road to a golf professional. Upon graduating high school, he moved to Myrtle Beach at the age of 17 to pursue his passion in golf and attended the Golf Acadmey of America. While at the Golf Academy, Mark played on the NCCGA National Team and made it to two National Championships. One in Glade Springs, West Virginia where his team took 4th in the nation and the other in Walt Disney, Florida where his team took 2nd in the nation. Mark graduated in December of 2016 with a players credential ribbon by having a plus 1.3 handicap along with an Associate’s Degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management. His excitement for the game and joy of learning about the industry while at the Golf Academy is what drove him to join the Barefoot family as an Assistant Golf Professional. He plans on working towards his Class A membership within the PGA and continue his career in the golf business.

Josh Cardin
Assistant Golf Professional
Josh Cardin was raised in Levittown Pennsylvania and attended Temple University in Philadelphia where he competed on the Track and Field team. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in education he spent a short time teaching in the Philadelphia area before joining the United States Army. He spent six years on active duty as an officer in the Military Police corps and after leaving the military, he moved to the Myrtle Beach area. Following his passion for athletics and competition he chose to pursue a career in the golf industry. He started working at Barefoot in May on 2018 and with a passion for learning and self-improvement he hopes to gain experience and progress as far as he can within the Barefoot organization and golf industry.

Vince Gallam
Assistant Golf Professional
Vince was originally born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. At an early age he played competitive baseball and spent most of his summers on the islands. Vince graduated the Professional Golfers Career College in Orlando Florida with a degree in Golf Management. From Florida he traveled and gained valuable experience in public, private, and exclusive resort operations from the Rocky Mountains to the coast of California. While enrolled in the PGA in Northern California he ran a variety of successful golf clinics and lessons. Vince is passionate for competitive golf, the outdoors, back-country skiing, and good times. His experience in the Hospitality Industry, his ambition for PGA membership, and his travels coast to coast make him a great addition to the Barefoot Family.

Derek Reed
Assistant Golf Professional
Derek was born and raised on a farm in the small town of Punxsutawney, PA. Derek was a 4 sport athlete-Baseball, Golf, Wrestling, and football. Derek won a PA USA wrestling State championship when he was a freshman, and was the catcher for a 3x state championship baseball team. He moved to Myrtle Beach in 2006 and pursued a career in Golf. Attending Golf Academy of the Carolinas, and got his first Professional job at Ocean Ridge plantation in Sunset Beach. He played competitively on the Hooters tour and Tar heel tours. Recently, Derek has earned certifications in Golf fitness. Most recently Derek became a licensed Real Estate Agent in addition to working at Barefoot Resort and Golf. He enjoys his 3 children (Ella Grace-16, Anson-14, and Hudson-5) and is married to his lovely wife Amanda.
