Experience the beauty of Barefoot Resort’s Fazio Course, a golfing masterpiece routed through the heart of the resort. This Par 71, 6,834-yard course boasts a unique design reminiscent of classic Lowcountry charm, adorned with live oaks, pines, natural areas, and native grasses. Unlike traditional layouts, the Fazio Course doesn’t return to the clubhouse after nine holes, adding to its European-inspired allure.
Nestled between the Dye and Love Courses, Fazio incorporates strategic design elements, including extensive tree cover, lakes, waste areas, and bunkers meticulously placed for visual and strategic impact. Natural elevation changes provide a sense of drama and excitement throughout the round, ensuring a memorable golfing experience.
Water features grace 15 holes, with lakes strategically positioned for playability. The course accommodates all skill levels with five sets of tees, allowing players to enjoy championship-level golf while finding the right balance of fun and challenge.
Tee and fairways feature GN-1 hybrid turf by Greg Norman Turf, while approach areas showcase Tif-Sport Bermuda grass and rough areas embrace 419 Bermuda grass. The greens, adorned with Champion UltraDwarf Grass, add the final touch to this exceptional golfing haven. Immerse yourself in the scenic splendor and strategic brilliance of the Fazio Course at Barefoot Resort.

Tom Fazio (born February 10, 1945) is a world-class golf course architect.
Fazio graduated in 1962 from Lansdale Catholic High School. He began his career in golf course design with his family’s firm in suburban Philadelphia, which he left in the 1960s; he established his own firm in Jupiter, Florida in 1972. He is the nephew of the late George Fazio, who often credited Tom with jump-starting his own career in golf course architecture.
Fazio has designed more than 120 courses and has more courses ranked among the top 100 in the U.S. than anyone else in the business. His individual honors include Best Modern Day Golf Course Architect, which he received from Golf Digest Magazine three times. In 1995, Fazio became only the second course architect to receive the highest recognition awarded by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America – The Old Tom Morris Award. No living designer has more credits on Golf Digest’s list of America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses and Golfweek’s collection of America’s Best.
Fazio was inducted into the Lansdale Catholic High School “Hall of Fame” in 2007.
